CAPITOL - AN OVERVIEW

Twelve presidents have lain in state within the Rotunda for public viewing, most recently George H. W. Bush. The tomb capitol designed for Washington saved the catafalque and that is accustomed to assist coffins lying in condition or honor within the Capitol.
